MUCKs can be tons of fun! But as in all things, there must be rules and the like to keep everything from exploding or turning into Abe Vegoda. And so, without further adu, we here at Labyrinth Muck present....Rules, Regulations, News, and More!

Rules

Alts-Each player is allowed up to 5 alternate characters. These alts must remain active. Any alts found to be dormant for one (1) month shall be terminated (unless prior, reasonable reasons are given). Alts can be fun to use in TP, but let's not twink folks. Complaints about alts will result in a warning, then in the termination of the alt in question.
Areas-There are five main IC areas on Labyrinth Muck. The Labyrinth of course, Earth and its many locations, the Endless Desert, the Goblin City (castle and dump included) and the Underground (beneath the Labyrinth). Within there there are, of course, seperate weather types, seperate geographical types, etc. Likewise the types of species will vary. Earth creatures, especially humans, are limited to why and when they are in the Labyrinth and areas near that. Goblins are allowed in the Earth areas, do do their jobs, as told in so many children's "fairytales".
Feature Characters-Feature Characters are those that existed previous to the MUCK, from the movie, books, and for this, the fan fiction. These characters must be described and RP'd based as closeley to the original character as possible. Any help needed with this can be gotten from a WIZ or staffer.
OOC-Out Of Character talk in IC areas is allowed to a certain extent. Basically, common sense, if its over 5 minutes in length, cut it short kids! There -is- an OOC Complex for all that good, family fun for all ages, OOC chatter.
Species-This is not a furry muck. Granted there are some FC's that were 'anthro', such as Dydimus, but there wont be -many- here. On earth the only creatures that are allowed there that -arent- typical to the area are the goblins. Likewise, in the Labyrinth areas, humans are brought there as Sarah was. We are not picky on what species are allowed, but you must have a good idea as to how your species fits into the area you are going to have them in. There isnt too much water areas, so fish and other aquatics should be limited. Flying creatures are allowed, but if yours doesnt have wings or the like, dont think about it. flying through the mazes is cheating after all! :) Keep in mind size when creating your character. can it fit in the mazes' paths? Or underground? Where does it belong and can it live there comfortably? Can others live near it as well? Also keep the theme of the muck in mind. If you are not familiar with the movie, i suggest renting it and reviewing. :) Other than that, have fun! there is much magic here!
Wiz/Staff-(Note: Policies below are based on those of both Redwall MUCK and Watership Down MUCK)
1. The word of the Head Wiz is law.
2. All suspensions and terminations of players must be immediatly reported to the Head Wizard by means of LabyrinthMuck@egroups.com. By sending to the preceeding address, all members of the Wiz/Staff team will also be notified of the suspension/termination.
3. All players are to be treated with courtesy and respect at all times. A player who does not return this courtesy to another player or wizard will be removed on a temporary basis (@boot).
4. Wizards are entrusted to use their best judgement on the spot. A wizard's say is final, unless overturned by the Head Wiz. A wizard is free to consult other wizzes (if available) on an issue before making their decision.
5. WIZ-abuse is intolerable. WIZ-abuse is defined as using any power or facility granted a WIZ or staffer to affect any given player without the consent of the affected player for any other reason than to enforce to policies of this MUCK. **NOTE** This includes compromising the confidence of player information! Email or IP addresses, alts, RL and other such info is *not* to be given out without player consent.
